Party-Rescue Game

Dinner Disaster is a free online game: rescue a party that keeps going wrong, from a garden anniversary to a beach birthday, a snowed-in Christmas lodge, a desert jubilee, a lakeside wedding and a rooftop gala. Plan the menu, drinks and seating, then handle the surprises, alone or with friends. The parties and disasters are fictional, not real incidents at MCUIRE.

How to play

  1. Choose a party (or โ€œSurprise meโ€) and press Play now. On your first party, short tips show what to tap; you can skip them.
  2. Make three planning calls: tap a card, see what your teammates think, then confirm.
  3. Handle the surprises as they come, keeping an eye on the budget, the guestsโ€™ needs and Team Morale.
  4. See your score out of 1,000, then play again, try the daily or weekly challenge, or play with friends.

Frequently asked questions

Is the game free?

Yes. Playing Dinner Disaster is free, including all six parties and the daily and weekly challenges. Optional Rescue Credits give extra help in casual parties, but you never need them to finish or win a party.

Which parties can I play?

Six, all free: the Silver Garden anniversary, a beach birthday, a snowed-in Christmas lodge, a desert farm jubilee, a lakeside wedding and a rooftop company gala. Each has its own guests, weather and surprises, and every code mixes the budget, guest list, a twist and the order of surprises. Every party can be saved without gambling. Choose one, or press โ€œSurprise meโ€.

What are the daily and weekly challenges?

Every day there is one party that everyone plays, and every week a longer one. Rescues are switched off so scores are comparable. Your first finished attempt is your official score; replays are practice.

How do badges and looks work?

Badges come in families, such as Party Saver or Storm Chaser, each with Bronze, Silver and Gold ranks and a progress bar. Ranks unlock looks: table styles, share-card frames and end-of-party celebrations. Looks change nothing in the game, and badges, ranks and looks canโ€™t be bought.

Does the game have sound?

Yes, but it is off until you switch it on. The Sound button has separate switches and volumes for music and for sound effects, plus a sound check. Sound pauses when the game is hidden, and the game remembers your choice on that device. You can also reduce motion or choose lighter effects for older phones.

Can I earn credits?

Yes, when you are signed in and online: finish your first party: 2 credits, once; save a party (a score of 700 or more with every guest safe): 1 credit, once a day (days reset at 00:00 UTC). Parties played offline or as a guest, and replays of a challenge you already finished, donโ€™t earn credits. Credits are checked and kept on our server, so they follow your account to any device.

What do optional Rescue Credits do?

They buy optional help in a casual party: a hint (1), a score preview (1), undoing your last choice (2) or a new secret objective (1). You can use up to 2 per party. They are never allowed in the daily or weekly challenge, competitive rooms or group events, and a party that used them is labelled โ€œassistedโ€ and earns half the reputation. Credits have no cash value and canโ€™t be transferred.

Can I buy extra credits?

Yes. Signed-in players can buy credit packs from the credits screen in the game; payment goes through our online shop. Credits are added once the payment is confirmed.

Can I play alone or with friends?

Both. Play solo with three computer teammates, or choose โ€œPlay with othersโ€ in the game: join a table with other players, create a private room and share its code, link or QR code with friends, or host a group event. Playing with others needs an internet connection and our live game server; if the server has been idle it can take up to a minute to start.

Do I need an account?

No. You can play free as a guest; your progress is then saved in this browser only. A free account is needed to keep and use Rescue Credits on any device, earn reputation in live parties and host group events.

Do I need to download anything?

No. The game runs in your web browser. On many phones and computers you can also add it to your home screen from this website with the gameโ€™s install button. That is not an app-store download.

Can I play on a phone or computer?

Yes. It works on phones, tablets and computers with an up-to-date web browser, in portrait or landscape.

Can I play offline?

Solo parties can be played offline once the game has been opened on your device (or installed from this website). Signing in and using or earning Rescue Credits need an internet connection.

Are Android and iPhone apps available?

Weโ€™re working on Android and iPhone apps. For now, you can play in your web browser.

Is this based on real incidents at the restaurant?

No. The parties, guests and disasters are fictional game scenarios, not real incidents at MCUIRE.
